The Great Paxton witch, attacked by fellow villagers as a witch but supported by the law.

Reverend Isaac Nicholson

1769 - 1839
Curate and then vicar at Great Paxton, instrumental in supporting Ann Izzard after the attacks on her.



Reverend Alfred Cane

1844 - 1919
Vicar at Great Paxton, he had been chaplain in India during the Kandahar Campaign in 1880
